(MENA) The UA – Rich Mountain Mens Soccer hit the road on Saturday for their first regular season match against Northeast Texas and fell 11 to 2.
The Men’s Soccer team was also in action Sunday afternoon with a match at Bearcat Stadium in Mena against the Ouachita Baptist Tigers, however a lightening delay for 45 minutes halted the match and when action resumed, an overtime period proved to be fruitless as well, as both teams failed to score and resulting in a 0-0 finish.
Head Coach Brian Byrd was enthused that his squad competed as well as they did against a more experienced and higher classed NCAA school.
The Bucks head to Coffeyville, Kansas to take on Coffeyville Community College on Wednesday with both teams. And then head to Neosho, Missouri on Thursday, before returning home to Mena for a Mens only match against Harding University at Bearcat Stadium on Saturday.
