Hilary Sherrer, reporter for John Brown University EagleBreak, brought home first place in the “Human Interest Reporting” category in the collegiate division of the Spring Creek Arts festival held recently in Springdale, Arkansas. Sherrer’s television feature focused on the new 28 Springs restaurant. JBU EagleBreak is a television newscast regularly produced by JBU students. Hilary Sherrer, a communication major with a Radio/TV/Web emphasis, will graduate December 21st from John Brown University and move to Houston, Texas to become assistant communication and marketing director for Camp Ozark. Hilary is the daughter of Cliff and Paulette Sherrer and is a 2010 graduate from Mena High School.
