The Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet was held Tuesday evening at CMA’s Iron Mountain Facility. The much anticipated community awards were presented at the close of the event. President Chris Benner announced this year’s winners as voted by Chamber members: Volunteer of the Year – Linda Rowe, Citizen of the Year – Bob Carver, Beautification/Renovation Award – MeatWorks Butchery & Market, Best New Construction – Cossatot River High School. The 2014 Business of the Year as voted by the Chamber Board of Directors was Polk County Developmental Center (PCDC).
