
Clare loved life and enjoyed the traveling the world and in 1950 was introduced to the Queen of England. Clare worked many years with Bank of America and was the personal secretary to the vice president of the bank. Clare enjoyed skiing, and going on walks. Clare was a Christian and treated others the way she wanted to be treated. Clare was a loving sister, aunt and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Clare is survived by, one sister, Joan Ace of North Vancouver; her friends and caregivers, Alicia Stillwell of Mena and May Nix of Mena; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fredrick Stephens; three brothers, Donald Holtz, Frank Holtz, and Richard Holtz and one sister, Emily Holtz.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation services have been entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena.
