So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. – 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
We are closing out one year and soon beginning a new one… a time of many reflections. As you reflect on the things that you wish you may have done differently or things in life that you wished had turned out differently, let it serve as a reminder in the coming year to let Jesus Christ be the Lord of your life… to make your decisions and actions based on their eternal consequences instead of the immediate gratification of this world. Let the Lord our God use this past year to sanctify our lives to use for His glory!
