Formed in 1998 by brothers McCray and Eric Dove, the Dove Brothers Quartet have quickly become a household name in Southern Gospel music with their unique throwback style and current Southern Gospel sound. The group is best known for their hit songs “Didn’t It Rain”, “Get Away Jordan”, “Just Another Hill”, and their biggest hit to date “I Can Pray”.
The group was awarded Horizon Group of the Year in 1999 and Favorite Traditional Male Quartet at the 2002 Singing News Fan Awards, 2008 & 2009 Group of the Year by SGM Awards and hasn’t missed a beat since. Their current recording, Hold On, is the group’s most critically acclaimed and ground breaking album to date.
The Dove Brothers will be appearing in concert at the Cherry Hill Methodist Church, Sunday, August 10 at 6 p.m. No tickets are necessary but a love offering is appreciated.
