Mena, Arkansas – January 6, 2014—Jason Lenderman, President and Chief Executive Officer of First National Bank recently announced the promotion of Greg Goss to Mena Region President. Goss will continue to offer a variety of loan products to the community, specializing in agriculture and farming, as well as oversee the day to day operations of the Mena and Cove First National Bank locations. “Greg has been a tremendous asset to First National Bank and to our entire community, we are very pleased to offer Greg this well-deserved promotion,” stated Lenderman. “He continues to serve his customers and the Polk County community with integrity and professionalism.”
Greg began his career in the poultry industry in Hot Springs in 1992 prior to entering the banking industry in 1997. In 2002, Greg joined First National Bank as a Loan Officer, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2012.
A native of Mena and a 1987 graduate of Mena High School, Greg continued his education at Arkansas Tech University, graduating in 1992 with a B.S. in Agriculture Business. He also completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in 2007. He has served on the Board of the Mena Chamber of Commerce and enjoys coaching youth sports, as well as volunteering for many community events.
Greg is the son of Seldon and Sue Goss of Mena and has been married to his wife Kim for 22 years. Greg and Kim have three daughters, Makaila, Makenzie, and Makenna.
