Jean was of the Baptist faith and loved God and reading her bible. She cherished her sons and was always filled with a zest for life. Jean was always on the go and absolutely loved to travel. She was very creative, writing poetry and some children books as well as beautiful oil paintings. Jean listened to country music and was said to be quite a dancer. She cared deeply for all the children of the world, as she was a very compassionate loving person. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a great friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill Smith and John David Smith; and two sisters, Diane Mazziotto and Ruth Vockler.
Jean is survived by three sons and daughter in law, Billie Clyde Jennings of Mena, David and Jodie Jennings of Mena, and Randall Dewayne Jennings of Texas; one brother, Bert Smith; four sisters, Emily Brandemart of West Stepford, New Jersey, Dottie Montauti of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, Joyce Hammel of Florida, and Vivian Kircher of Pittman, New Jersey; six grandchildren, Jessica Frey, Billie Jennings Jr., Karen Jennings, Brandy Dollarhyde, Christopher Sanders, and Heath Sanders; four great grandchildren, Taylor Gibson, Brock Smith, Bubba Dollarhyde, and Trinity Wright; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
