Jon Gilmore, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Asa Hutchinson, Announces Resignation; Will Pursue Private Sector Opportunity

LITTLE ROCK – Jon Gilmore, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Asa Hutchinson, officially announced his resignation today. Gilmore will be leaving at the end of the month to pursue private sector opportunities and to open a consulting firm.

Governor Hutchinson issued the following statement:

“Jon has been a key part of my leadership team for the past three years.  He managed my successful campaign, and he has also been instrumental in implementing my agenda as governor.  His talent and counsel will be missed inside the office, but I am delighted he will continue to be engaged in Arkansas as part of the private sector.  I will continue to draw upon his friendship and support in the future.”

Jon Gilmore issued the following statement:

“It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as Governor Hutchinson’s Deputy Chief of Staff and to play a part in his administration. The Governor’s trust is humbling, and I appreciate the mentorship and friendship he has provided to me and continues to provide. I look forward to continued support of his leadership of our state.”
