[BOARD CAMP, Ark.] Orville and Cheryl Murphy, producers of the Crystal Music Festival, in Board Camp, Arkansas, are very pleased to announce that renowned Country Christian singer/musician, Buddy Jewell, from Nashville, Tennessee, will perform on Saturday, July 26, on The Crystal Stage at the 2014 2nd Annual Crystal Music Festival, located at the Board Camp Campground and Crystal Mine in Board Camp, Arkansas.
The local Marine Corp Color Guard will open the festival by raising the flag, with the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. Opening for Buddy Jewell, will be Polk County’s own Christian band ‘Harmony’ at 6 pm. with Jewell beginning at 7 p.m. The event will also feature Otters – The Women of the Circle who will open the festival at noon, followed by soloist Pastor Jerry Taylor of Ink, Gary Floyd of Camden, the red-dirt band Polk 74, and the classic rock band Run Ragged.
Fallen and Standing Heroes will be honored at 5 pm. In addition to traditional vending booths, one booth will feature “Lost City Magic” father and son illusionists from the Cherokee Nation! They will perform close-up tricks for passers-by right at their booth throughout the day.
The crystal mine will also be open at the Dig Entry, at $10 each age 12 and up, plus $10 per bucket rental fee. You must use the mine’s 20 qt. buckets to collect your crystals, then transfer them to your own containers to take them home. Parking will be facilitated by Ink VFD and a donation to your parking attendant is appreciated.
