
She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on September 10, 1916 to the late Clarence Bishop and the late Florence Northcutt Bishop. Lottie was a member of the DeQueen Methodist Church. She and her late husband, Max, were the owners of the Western Auto in Mena, Arkansas for 31 years.
Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Max D. Overton, her parents, Florence C. Northcutt and Clarence C. Bishop, three brothers, Clarence C. Bishop, Jr., Floyd Bishop, Frank “Bob” Bishop, one sister, Hazel Reynolds, and one son-in-law, Romie C. Ray.
She is survived by daughter, Charlotte L. Ray of DeQueen, Arkansas; grand-daughters, Kisha Devasier and husband Kevin of Dierks, Arkansas, Kim Conley and husband Joe of Frisco, Texas; four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m. under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
