The Mena Art Gallery is holding a fundraiser to help bring The Art of the Heartland National Juried Paint Show back to Mena for the third year. They have a goal of $15,000 and need the community’s help.
A challenge has been set up by two donors. If the gallery raises $1,100 in the next week, those donors will match the amount – one for $1,000 and another for $100. Organizers of the event said the fundraising is “especially important considering the probable loss of national funding for the arts.”
If you wish to donate, visit www.razoo.com/story/ArtoftheHeartland. There, you can make whatever size donation you wish. The gallery thanks all those who “support the arts in southwestern Arkansas.”
