Mena Police Department: June 29 – July 5

June 29, 2014 

A 17-year-old Mena youth was charged with disorderly conduct after a call to a local residence.

June 30, 2014

Brandon Allen Foster, 23, of Mena was charged with obstructing governmental operations after an incident in Mena.

A local woman reported that she is being stalked.  The suspect has been advised to have no further contact with the victim.

July 1, 2014

A Mena woman reported that someone had stolen her mailbox from the post in front of her home.  Case is pending.

July 2, 2014

A local man reported that while he was away working, his girlfriend moved another man in the house, and that they had stolen several items.  Case is pending further investigation.

Mark L. Wesson, 53, of Mena was charged with public intoxication after a call to a local retail store.

July 3, 2014 

No criminal reports filed.

July 4, 2014

Marissa Ann Barron, 20, of Mena, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of schedule I or II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine or cocaine, distribution of controlled substance near certain facilities, and misdemeanor possession of an instrument of crime.

July 5, 2014

A 17-year-old Texarkana youth was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

A Mena man was issued a warning citation for criminal trespass after he was observed in a business from which he had been banned.

Officers completed an additional 10 reports and worked three accidents.
