[SUBMITTED] The Mena Advertising and Promotion Commission would like to invite everyone to the always popular KCS Holiday Express train arriving at the Mena Depot on Saturday, December 13 at 4 pm.
Led by KCS’ Southern Belle business train, the Holiday Express train includes a smiling tank car “Rudy”; a flatcar carrying Santa’s sleigh, reindeer and a miniature village; a ginger bread boxcar; the elves’ workshop; the reindeer stable; and a little red caboose.
This is a great event for children and adults alike during the Christmas season. The Holiday Express is a six-car train that brings Santa Claus and his elves to communities throughout the U.S. The KCS Charitable Fund makes a contribution of gift cards to the local Salvation Army to provide warm clothing and other necessities for children in need.
This event is FREE to the public.
