Repops Manufacturing is expanding their facilities by 15,000 sq. feet this summer to bring in a new line of products for their ever-growing customer base. Repops was opened in 1997 when the father/son duo of Jeff and Clint Montgomery took their lifelong love of cars and turned it into a career.
Clint explained that an opportunity arose that brought them into the business and the opportunities for growth keep on arising, creating sustainability and jobs for locals. The company has gone from producing a few parts a day into thousands a day and their new line will create 943 more products to offer. Their parts line will now offer more than 4,000 different products, all geared towards antique cars.
Clint also said that there are few companies that offer the products they manufacture, yet the interest in antique cars keeps rising and demand for parts does as well. “It has longevity and it just keeps growing. We are extremely fortunate,” he said.
The new felt line, which is mostly used for window channels and door weather strips, will be housed in the 15,000 sq. foot facility currently being constructed behind Repops. The multi-building operation is located in and behind the old Pine Bowl on the south edge of Mena. Because of expansion, Repops has 36 employees, and three of those families relocated to Mena specifically for the felt line.
