The Ouachita Little Theatre production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka is entering the final weeks of rehearsal. Those of you familiar with the story will remember the frenzy generated by the golden tickets. Mena is about to generate its own ticket frenzy. Tickets for the OLT production of Willy Wonka go on sale Wednesday, April 9 at one of the OLT’s biggest supporters, Arvest Bank. Almost all seats are sold as reserved seats. Patrons will select their seat at the time they buy their ticket. Those wanting the good seats will need to get them early. The price of the tickets is still only $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. There will be a few tickets sold at the door each night, but if a good seat is desired, an advanced ticket is the way to go. With advanced tickets, patrons can arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the show and still be assured of a seat. If you ever wanted to see 50 live singing Oompa Loompas in one place, Grandpa Joe and Charlie flying, Violet inflating to a giant berry and a Wonkavator ascending over town, don’t miss this OLT production.
