[MENA] On July 17, the Mena Police Department released that arrests were made in the burglary of the Crossing church that occured in February of this year.
On February 4, 2013, The Crossing Church reported a burglary to police of their business office located on North Mena Street.
Det. Brandon Martin stated that suspects broke into the building and stole the safe with an undisclosed amount of cash and checks inside, electronics and other items.
Property was recovered East of the office in a wooded area and returned to The Crossing along with numerous money bags.
Martin stated that evidence left at the scene was submitted to the State Crime Lab for analysis and the results led police to the suspects.
On July 8 and July 10, Eric Adamson, age 26, and Bobby May, age 25, of Mena were arrested and charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property.
Eric Adamson is currently in the Polk County Jail and Bobby May was released on bond.
