Cherry Hill Baptist Church is once again hosting their annual outdoor Fall Gospel Concert and in keeping with their tradition, they are bringing in some of gospel music’s top names.
This year, Wilburn & Wilburn are to appear, the father & son team of Jonathan and Jordan Wilburn…continuing the tradition for three generations. Jonathan spent the first 16 years of his Southern Gospel Music career singing with his family, the Wilburns, one of Gospel Music’s most beloved and respected families.
In 1996 Jonathan would move to Gadsden, Alabama where he would anchor the lead position with Gold City for the next 12 years. Jonathan’s awards, accolades and accomplishments in Southern Gospel Music are too numerous to mention and Fans are thrilled and honored that Jonathan is returning to the stage.
The Mercy River Boys are in their 11th year of singing together and are excited to becoming to Cherry Hill.
The admission is free. This year’s love offering will beneift Cristi Bissell and the families of Brian Logan and Donna Ryals.
The event attracts people from surrounding states so you are encouraged to arrive early for the best parking and to bring your lawn chair. In the event of rain, the event will move next door to the Cherry Hill Methodist Church.
The event is this Friday, September 27, at 6:30 p.m.and is at 4040 Polk 70 – 12 miles east of Mena on Hwy 88.
