Almost $2,000 was raised at the Quarters for a Cure Fun Run on Saturday, April 9th, with a profit of $1,731 that will benefit the American Cancer Society via Polk County Relay for Life. Awards were given to top finishers of the run in several categories. In 13 and Under, 1st place was awarded to TJ Bissell; 2nd place went to Alyssa Warren and 3rd place went to Jake Lyle. In the 14 to 17 division, Chad Sutton won 1st place and Kendra Branson won 2nd. In 18 and Up, Mary Ferguson placed 1st, with 2nd place being won by Kylynn Ledbetter, and 3rd place went to Alyssa Lance.
The Overall Winners were Chad Sutton and Kendra Branson. Overall Walkers were Destiny Schooley, Kimberly Taylor, and Brandy Sanchez.
The Most Awesome Runner was awarded to Addi Ledbetter; Best Dressed was given to Alyssa Lance, and Best Group was Team Green.
