The Cossatot River Eagles opened their 2016-2017 basketball season by pounding the Sparkman Raiders 86-46 in the Stephens Center at Cossatot River High School Tuesday, October 25th.

Cossatot continued to roll in the third period, outscoring Sparkman 28-8 to go up 82-39.

Cody Baker led the Eagles with 20 points, while Juan Trinidad scored 18 and Trevon Broach recorded 15.
Marco Ramirez chipped in with nine points, while Keelan Youngblood scored seven.
There was no senior girls’ game because Sparkman had to cancel their senior girls basketball season due to lack of participation.
The Cossatot River Junior Lady Eagles smashed the Sparkman Junior Lady Raiders 48-10 in the first game of the evening.
Cossatot River Jr. Lady Eagles and varsity squads travel to Kirby on Thursday, October 27th, with games tipping off at 5:30.
