On Tuesday, April 19th Acorn High School hosted the 2A-4 Junior District Track Meet & Track Championships. Acorn Junior Boys finished 4th and Acorn junior girls finished 5th in the team race.
The results of Acorn Junior Boys included: Chance Ragain scored two victories in the 800 and 1600 runs and anchored the winning 4 x 800 relay team of Chance Ragain, Gage Davis, Eilam Holland, & Fredrick Metcalf.
Additional top finishes for Acorn Junior Tigers included:
– 400: Matt Lewis finished 7th
– 1600: Ben Kincaid finished 6th
– Discus: Eilam Holland finished 7th
– Triple Jump: Chance Ragain finished 4th, Matt Lewis finished 5th, & Frederick Metcalf finished 8th
– Long Jump: Chance Ragain finished 3rd & Matt Lewis finished 4th
– High Jump: Chance Ragain finished 5th
– 4 x 400 Relay: Acorn Junior Boys Relay Team finished 5th
– 4 x 200 Relay: Acorn Junior Boys Relay Team finished 5th
– 4 x 100 Relay: Acorn Junior Boys Relay Team finished 4th
Finishes for Acorn Junior Lady Tigers included:
– 4 x 800 Relay: Acorn Junior Girls Relay Team finished 2nd – Josey Dollar, Sydney Holliday, Kloee Husser & KaitLynn Ledbetter
– 800: Josey Dollar finished 5th, Kloee Husser finished 7th & KaitLynn Ledbetter finished 8th
– 200: Huntar Starr finished 6th
– 1600: Mylee Sharp finished 7th & Josey Dollar finished 8th
– High Jump: Chanity Hall finished 5th
– Shot Put: Chanity Hall finished 5th
– Pole Vault: Kimberly Cline finished 2nd
– 4 x 100 Relay: Acorn Junior Girls Relay Team finished 5th
