To start the varsity games off, the Lady Tigers and Lady Lions set up for tip-off. After a slow start, Acorn was able to outscore Horatio in the first quarter 13-9. The Lady Tigers obtained an excellent start in the second quarter, forcing Horatio to call a timeout with 6:06 left in the quarter with Acorn on top 19-9. After the timeout, Acorn held the Lady Lions to only 4 points in the second quarter, making the score 27-13 at halftime.

After a 27 point win by the Lady Tigers, the Acorn boys prepared to tip-off the final game of the night. Acorn took an early 7-2 lead against Horatio and never looked back, outscoring the Lions 25-14 in the first quarter. The Tigers continued their excellent shooting performance in the second quarter, scoring 19 to make the score 44-33 heading to halftime.

For Horatio, Hendrix led the Lions in scoring with 30 points, while Black had 20 points.
Aaron Bissell led the Tigers in scoring with 21 points, Leo Jacinto followed with 20, Tyler Bates 14 points, Zak Abbott 10 points, Daniel Cottrell 8 points, Logan Frost 4 points, and both Josh Swint and Dylyn Hayner scored 3 points.
