The Mena Ladycats will face the Bauxite Miners in the State Softball Finals today at the University of Arkansas’ Bogle Park in Fayetteville at 3 p.m.
The game will be available for viewing online at MyPulseNews.com beginning Saturday, May 23 at 5 p.m., to be compliant with Arkansas Athletics Association ruling in regards to State Championship games. The AAA will not allow KENA 104.1 to provide a live broadcast of the game.

Ladycat fans rallied to support the Mena Softball team that’s favored to take today’s 4A State Championship. Fans lined the road as the bus made their trek through Mena to support the team that have met two-thirds of their season goals and are looking to finish off the last one today.
The Ladycats met their first goal of capturing the 4A-7 District Title when they defeated Bauxite, 2-1, at the District Tournament held at Waldron, Arkansas. Mena went on to grab their second goal of the season, when they traveled four hours to Dumas, Arkansas, where they destroyed Bauxite 13-0, to win the 4A South Regional Tournament. Their third goal awaits them today at Bogle Park.
The Ladycats have outscored their 4A counterparts this postseason by a margin of 63 runs. The Ladycats have outscored their 4A-7 District opponents 13-1, in two games, their 4A South Regional opponents 35-2 in three games, and their 4A State opponents 18-0, in two games.
