Bearcats’ Semifinal Pep Rally Hypes Fans for the Big Game

The Bearcats’ Pep Rally for tonight’s State Semifinal game against the Malvern Leopards hyped the fans in a big way!  Mena’s Cheerleaders led the crowd as the award winning Bearcat Band kept the rhythm for students from Holly Harshman, Mena Middle School, and Mena High School, as well as teachers, administration, and parents.

From playing games, hearing from coaches and team captains, and the crowd performing the wave, Mena students showed how excited they are to see the Bearcats hit the field tonight in such a historic game.

During the traditional class competition, students and teachers rolled footballs down the court with nothing but their heads, while their teammates waited to pass the ball down the line.
Putting on football pants was the final step in the class competition which was won by the 8th grade.
Head Coach Tim Harper thanks the fans for their support, the boys for their dedication, and encourages everyone to come to tonight’s game.
