BY LEANN DILBECK –
After two forced cancellations due to the weather, the much anticipated Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas parade, “The Joy of Christmas,” was held Monday night. Mena Street was glowing as thousands of twinkling lights filed down Mena Street in the city’s largest parade of the year with Ed Stevenson leading the way as the 2013 Grand Marshal.
Lana Gail and the Gail Force delivered a rocking LIVE free performance on Sherwood Street before Chamber President Lou Longoria announced this year’s float winners.
