The Cossatot Lady Eagles faced Camden Harmony Grove in their regional softball tournament. In a great defensive game, there was no score after 7 innings. In the 8th, the Lady Eagles failed to score. CHG got the winning run to 3rd with 1 out, but a strikeout and a great game saving catch by Jade Richardson sent the game to the 9th. Sam Hill drove in the lead run and the Lady Eagles won 2-0 to advance and earn a birth in the state tournament.
In the semi-final game, the Lady Eagles faced Horatio. After falling behind 1-0, Hope Lyle tied the game with an RBI single. Jade Richardson drove in the winning run as the Lady Eagles won 2-1 to advance to the regional championship game. In the championship game vs Genoa, a bad 2nd inning allowed Genoa to score 5 runs. That would be all they scored but it was enough as Genoa defeated the Lady Eagles 5-1.
The Lady Eagles would move on to the Class 3A State Softball Tournament where they were knocked out by Harmony Grove by a score of 12-0, ending their season.
