The Cossatot River Lady Eagles improved to 11-1 in conference play and 18-9 overall with wins over Horatio and Gurdon last week.
On Friday night in Gurdon, the Lady Eagles routed the Lady Go Devils 40-23. The Go Devils defeated the Eagles in the boys contest 56-35. The Cossatot River boys fall to 6-6 in league play and 9-15 overall.
On Tuesday, January 22nd, The Eagles and Lady Eagles swept the Horatio senior teams at home. The Lady Eagles raced to a 38-15 halftime lead, and cruised to a 58-29 victory. Ashlyn Gonzalez led the Lady Eagles with 16. Kaylin McKee chipped in with 13, and Kayla Richardson added 12.
In the senior boys contest, the Eagles rolled over the Lions 64-40 as Trenton Rosson poured in a game high 28 points to pace Cossatot River.
In a junior girls contest, Horatio defeated Cossatot River 35-23.
