BY U.S. REPRESENTATIVE TOM COTTON –
Washington, D.C.—Yesterday, Congressman Tom Cotton (R-Dardanelle) was recognized by the National Association of Manufactures (NAM) as a recipient of their Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence for the 113th Congress. This award is given each Congress to those Senators and Representatives whose voting record reflects consistent support of policies important to the manufacturing community.
“Manufacturing is one of Arkansas’s most important industries and it plays a critical role in our state economy,” said Congressman Cotton. “But for the last six years manufacturers in Arkansas and across the country have been stifled by the uncertainty and government overreach of the Obama administration. I am honored to receive this award and I will continue to support and champion the policies Arkansas and American manufacturing need to grow and create jobs.”
