Darrell Anthony “Tony” King

Mr. Darrell Anthony “Tony” King, age 45, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born on October 14, 1975, in Dayton, Tennessee, to the late Michael Darrell King and Angela Kathleen Wilson Carpenter.  

Tony served our country in the United States Army and was an “avid” Trump supporter. He enjoyed life and trying new things, especially food and places to eat. Tony collected many things, especially guns, shoes, and watches. He liked to fix and restore old cars and take them to old car shows. The thing Tony loved the most of all was his family. He especially loved spending time with Abby watching old movies and listening to music. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Ka’La Smith of 12 years; son, Dante King of Tennessee; daughter, Abigail Rose King of Russellville; grandmother, “Meme” Juanita Spencer; stepmother, Kim King; brother, Nathan King; sister, Cherity Hunt, Kristy Curl, Kelly Keller, and Jessica Carpenter; close friends, Link and Eddie Foster; Tommy Purcell, and several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas, with Rodney Provence officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beasley Wood Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are Kale Smith, and Tommy Purcell.
