First responders busy Wednesday due to Flash Flooding

First responders and victims of flash flooding are all safe and accounted for after heavy rains caused a flash flood warning to be issued for the area until 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer said three incidents occurred before 11 a.m.
The first one was on Polk 54, the second was behind the Mena Intermountain Municipal Airport off Polk 44 and the third was located on Polk 31 between Cove and Hatfield.
Motorist are encouraged to practice safe driving and be mindful of the flash flood warning. Turn around, Don’t Drown.
