I cry out to You for help, but You do not answer me. – Job 30:20
Just because God waits to answer our prayers, does not mean that He has forgotten you or that He has failed to hear your requests. He works on our behalf, even when we cannot see His activity or feel His presence. Therefore, we shouldn’t question, feel forsaken, or feel that we are being ignored. When times of adversity come, it can help us to remember how God has already worked in our hearts to shape us into His likeness. God finishes what He starts, and what He began in us…He will certainly complete and us it for His glory.
If you’re feeling broken today, trust in the Lord knowing that His strength is perfected in your weakness.
