Lanisa Diane Richardson Harris

Lanisa Diane Richardson Harris, age 46, of Hatfield, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer in Mena, Arkansas.  She was born in DeQueen, Arkansas on October 2, 1969 to the late Lannie Richardson and Nancy McCoy Richardson. Lanisa was married to David Harris for 28 years.

Lanisa was known for her easy going smile and her laughter. She had a deep love for family, especially her children and grandchildren. Lanisa always put her family first and foremost in her life. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, reading and her animals. Lanisa worked for Wal-Mart for many years.  She was a loving and kind daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.  Lanisa will be dearly missed.

Lanisa is survived by husband, David R. Harris of Hatfield, Arkansas; son, Dillon Harris and wife Candice of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; daughter, Falesha Harris of Hatfield, Arkansas; mother, Nancy Richardson of Hatfield, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jayden Harris and Adelyn Harris; sister, Shannon Miller and husband Kenny of Hatfield, Arkansas; brother, Jeffrey Richardson and wife Trina of Wickes, Arkansas; cousins, Kenny and Laura Romine and Tony and Lisa Nichols; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lannie Richardson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McCoy and Mr. And Mrs. Landon Richardson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at the Freewill Baptist Church in Hatfield. Interment will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

Visitation is general.
