Marjorie Avis Marthaler age 95, of Mena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Mena. She was born on May 27, 1923 in Toledo, Illinois to the late Oscar William Lowry and the late Maudelene Caroline Wilkin Lowry.
Marjorie was a loving homemaker and worked as a CNA. Marjorie loved the Lord and served Him with her powerful faith. She enjoyed sewing, singing and gardening. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Mena Manor for their love and care.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by sons: Richard Warner of Mena, Arkansas, Raymond Warner and wife Linda of Mena, Arkansas, George Parkhurst of Topeka, Kansas, William Parkhurst and wife Nancy of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Maudelene Lowry; husband, Fred Marthaler; sons: Paul Edward Bowman, Earl Parkhurst, Robin Parkhurst, and Michael Warner.
Mrs. Marthaler was sent for cremation under the direction of Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Service will be in Wisconsin at a later date.
