In an effort to encourage people all across Arkansas to gain these certifications, Certiport has created the MOS National Championship and part of that is the MOS Arkansas Championship, which recognizes the top students in Arkansas. One Mena High School student earned top honors as the winner of the fall qualifier for Microsoft© PowerPoint 2010. Christopher Thompson, a ninth grader, receives an invitation to compete at the National Championship in Orlando, Florida, in June. Ruby Green placed 3rd in the state.
