
Marvin was born on December 15, 1933 in Mena to Simmon and Alice (Holiday) Fryar. He was a truck driver and loved to take walks around Janssen Park. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by: sons: Darrell Fryar and wife Linda of Mena, and Brian Fryar and wife Jennifer of Mt. Ida; daughter: Teresa Adams of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren: Amada Fryar, Kevin Fryar, Melissa Smith, Kimberly Hunt, Vernon Adams, Melanie Adams, Nicole Daigneault, Naomi Keith, Christina Fryar, Triton Fryar, Trevor Fryar, Linda Hall, and Andy Fryar; numerous great-grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ellis Fryar, Gerald Fryar, and Burl Fryar; sisters, Maggie Fryar, and Lois Fryar; daughters, Glenda Fryar, and Tina Fryar; and granddaughter Cristi Fryar Bissell.
Funeral service will be held at the Beasley Wood Chapel on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, AR. Pallbearers will be Teal Bissell, Stetson Bissell, Bradlee Bissell, Trenton Fryar, Trevor Fryar, and Brian Smith.
Arrangements are under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
