Polk County Farm Bureau members were among more than 500 who attended Arkansas Farm Bureau’s 67th annual Officers and Leaders Conference July 20-21 in Hot Springs. They are (left to right): Allen Stewart, Dotsy Webb, Duane Webb, Josey Webb, Brody Webb and Floyd Clark.
The theme for this year’s conference was “#BeVocal.” A variety of workshops and speakers addressed issues important to farm and ranch leaders. Highlights included comments from Arkansas Farm Bureau President Randy Veach of Manila, an update from Agriculture Secretary Wes Ward and a keynote address by Greg Peterson, eldest of the Peterson Farm Brothers, who are well known for their song parodies about agriculture.
Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 190,000 families working to improve farm and rural life.
