
(MENA) Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge has announced the arrest of James Edward Schroer, 41, of Cove, for crimes involving children.
Schroer was arrested by the Attorney General’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit on thirty counts of distributing, possessing or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, which is a Class C Felony.
Special agents confiscated three phones, two computer hard drives, two tablets, three SD cards and 12 flash drives from the home.
Schroer is currently being held in the Polk County Jail, where he had a bond set at one half of a million dollars.
The case will be turned over to 18th West Judicial Prosecuting Attorney Andy Riner, for a future court date in Mena.
