Deputies responded to a report of two missing individuals. The individuals were later located.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 980 near Mena in reference to a physical disturbance.

Deputies responded to a report of a physical domestic altercation. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 29 near Hatfield in reference to an unwanted person being there. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

 

December 9, 2025

Ronald Lowery, 67, of Texarkana was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant and three warrants for Violation of a Protection Order.

Deputies responded to a report of a dog bite.

Mario Moreno, 32, of Hatfield was arrested by an officer with Probation Parole to be held for another agency.

Deputies responded to a report of threats being made to an individual.

 

December 10, 2025

Gerhard Hicks, 28, of Wickes was arrested by an officer with the Arkansas State Police on a warrant for Criminal Trespass and Harassment.

 

December 11, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 375 W near Mena in reference to threats being made. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

 

December 12, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Grey Horse Lane near Acorn in reference to a physical altercation. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

An incident on Hwy 71 S near Mena led to the arrest of Rhonda Hogarth, 61, of Mena on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Refusal to Submit to Arrest, Criminal Trespassing, and Loitering.

James Holtzclaw, 34, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Johnny Myers, 56, of Mena was arrested by an officer with Probation Parole on a warrant for Violation of a no Contact Order.

 

December 13, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 8 E near Mena in reference to a verbal domestic disturbance leading to the arrest of Kaleb Brumbelow, 30, of Mena on charges of DWI, 3rd Degree Domestic Battery, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test, Public Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 26 near Hatfield in reference to a stolen motorcycle.

Kyle Rowe, 36, of Hatfield was arrested on a warrant for 3rd Degree Domestic Battery and 3rd Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

 

December 14, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 246 E near Vandervoort in reference to a forest fire.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 41 S near Mena in reference to stolen property.

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to domestic battery.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 647 near Mena in reference to an unattended death.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 3 vehicle accidents this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 31 Incarcerated Inmates with 3 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
