Allen Stewart of Mena (Polk County), a member of the Arkansas Farm Bureau board of directors, took part in the delegate session of the 95th American Farm Bureau Convention held Jan. 12-14 in San Antonio, Texas. At the annual meeting of Farm Bureau voting delegates, farmers and ranchers set the national organization’s policies for the next year. These policies — surfaced and debated from the grassroots level on up — guide national policy implementation efforts throughout the following year. Arkansas Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, private farm and rural advocacy organization of more than 195,000 families throughout the state working to improve farm and rural life.
