SUBMITTED –
The Cossatot River High School EAST Program will have their second annual EAST Night Out on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the CRHS EAST Classroom, room 401. EAST Night Out is a national “open house” celebration of EAST programs, where family, friends and the general public are invited to see how students are making a difference in their community and celebrate the work already underway.
During EAST Night Out, EAST classrooms share with their school, community members, business leaders, media and families the power of student-driven, service-based, technology-infused education. It is a come and go event where guests will have the opportunity to see some of the equipment and programs the students will get to work with, as well as learn about how the EAST program can best serve in the local and neighboring communities using advanced technology.
“Our students have come up with some fantastic project ideas for this year and we would love to have the opportunity to share those with you at EAST Night Out,” said CRHS EAST Facilitator Emily Huckabey.
