Dream Spinners Christian Dance Company welcomes back their friends New Creation Dance Company to Mena this Friday, April 11th. This year’s performance entitled “Thy Kingdom Come” focuses on seeking God and worshipping Him, and features music by popular Christian artists and uplifting videos. Once again, the show is made up of works choreographed by the company members themselves in a combination of ballet and contemporary dance styles. Dream Spinners dancers will open the show first with a performance of their own.
New Creation is a professional dance ministry that desires to glorify God and to bring encouragement to their audiences through the art of dance. Their name comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old is gone, the new has come!”

“Thy Kingdom Come” will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night at the Mena High School Performing Arts Center. Admission is FREE but donations are welcome to help support the company’s ministry.
Dream Spinners will also be hosting a dance workshop led by New Creation on Saturday, April 12th for ages 3 and up, at the Rich Mountain Community College Fitness Room and Crestwood Aerobic Room in Mena. Classes will be offered in ballet, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and creative worship. No previous dance experience required. The cost for the workshop is $10 per class, or 3 classes for $25. To register for classes or to see a class schedule, go to www.newcreationdance.org.
